Bred by Blackwood Farm in Oregon, Spring is a 15.2 chestnut mare by the buckskin reining champion Primavera Valdez and out of a mare from the Windswept Ranch in California. Purchased after the loss of our mare Primavera Rosanna, Spring has proven to be all we hoped for and more.
A mare who could have come straight of Roland Hill's ranch, Spring is appreciated by Morgan and non-Morgan aficionados alike. Although a pasture injury ended our hopes of her career as a low level event horse, Spring is an outstanding trail horse, stunning mover and will free jump a course on her own just for the thrill of it.
Spring is expecting a foal by Slate Run RK Ladd in late summer 2005. |
